Professional Education – FAQ
Question: How do I register for professional education sessions?
Answer: First, take note of the registration date which
can be found in the current ASCY Newsletter. If there is a fee for the
professional education session, fill out a registration form and attach payment (cheque made
payable to ASCY) and submit in person or by mail to the Professional Resource
Library or Professional Education office.
If there is no fee attached, you can register by phone, mail or in person. Please be sure to register as soon as possible as professional education sessions fill quickly.
Question: Which professional education sessions count towards my ASCY Professional
Education Certificate?
Answer: All professional education sessions, network meetings and any in-service
professional education that was coordinated and/or delivered by ASCY will appear on
your certificate.
Please note that professional education sessions for which you receive a program certificate
(i.e. first aid, ECERS R, Train Tracks, etc.) will not appear on the ASCY
Professional Education Certificate.
